A Remote Chat Agent (No Phone) provides customer support entirely through live chat messaging platforms and sometimes email without handling customer calls.

Typical responsibilities:

• Respond to customers through live chat.
• Answer questions about products services orders or accounts.
• Troubleshoot basic customer issues.
• Process or update customer requests.
• Escalate complicated issues to the appropriate department.
• Keep accurate records of customer conversations.
• Follow company policies and customer-service procedures.
• Handle multiple chat conversations while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.

Common requirements:

• Strong written communication and typing skills.
• Good customer-service skills.
• Ability to multitask.
• Basic computer and internet skills.
• Reliable internet connection and a suitable home workspace.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
